“Today my adventure at Real Madrid begins. Motivated and responsible for defending these colors and this shield.

Looking forward to starting an exciting season together (Real Madrid and the Real Madrid youth team),” the striker shared on his Instagram account.

Real Madrid went ahead of Atlético de Madrid to sign Iker Bravo

The signing of Iker Bravo by Real Madrid was announced by Mario Cortegana in MARCA on August 17 after the pulse they had with Atlético de Madrid for taking over the forward’s services.

Bravo arrives at Real Madrid with a one-year contract on loan from Bayer Leverkusen with a purchase option.

“I think Iker Bravo is wrong and that the best thing for him would be to stay in Leverkusen and train every day with the first team and play with the U19”, explained Fernando Carro, the Spanish CEO of Bayer Leverkusen, on Radio MARCA.

Iker Bravo left Barcelona after 10 years to sign for Bayer Leverkusen and make history in the Bundesliga
Iker Bravo (13-1-2005, Sant Cugat del Vallès) was trained for 10 years in the Barcelona youth academy and stands out as a scorer in the lower categories of the Spanish National Team (23 goals since his debut in the sub 15 until his entry in the sub 19).

In 2021 Iker Bravo decided to leave Barcelona and sign for Bayer Leverkusen.

At 16 years and 298 days, Iker Bravo became the third youngest player to debut in the Bundesliga after Youssoufa Moukoko and Zidan Sertdemir.

“When I arrived here and bet on this club, I was dreaming of experiencing the moment of my debut in the first team. Thank you for all the love I felt at the BayArena on such a special day for me. I can only thank the fans, the team coach and the team for the trust placed in me. I will continue working, the road ahead is still long”, shared Iker Bravo on his Instagram account after making his debut in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen.
