Ancelotti reveals how Alaba violated instructions in the winning goal against Almeria

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti expressed his happiness with the 2-1 victory against Almeria, on Sunday evening, at Power Horse Stadium, at the start of the two teams’ campaigns in La Liga.

Ancelotti said, during statements carried by the Spanish newspaper, “Marca”, “We started the game badly, and it was normal for us to suffer here, and after they scored a goal and the match became complicated, and we did not have the activity to play quickly in attack, as they closed the defense well.”

He added, “We hit a lot of balls, and in the second half the opponent was tired, and we had more control and chances.”

Regarding David Alaba’s goal, he explained: “Who should take free kicks Benzema or Kroos, but Alaba decided to shoot, and executed very well.”

He continued: “Rüdiger played a great game and has a lot of experience, and the youth did not play as they usually do, which is normal, and I withdrew Camavinga because he had a card and we do not want to play with ten players.”

And he added: “Asensio is a Real Madrid player, and we must take into account what he did last year, and he is an important player as long as he is in our team.”

And he continued: “Vazquez is part of the group, one of those who are always ready to participate, he did a very good performance, scored a very important goal, and he has to continue like this.”

And he concluded by talking about Hazard: “He is playing well and I think he will get many minutes, and we have to take into account the presence of Vinicius with us, who is good at playing on the edge as well.”
